Tiny Green Mountain College in Vermont is going greener with plans to use cow manure to generate power. Officials at the 750-student liberal arts collge in Poultney, Vermont said the plan will cut its greenhouse gas emissions.

A Chinese university is making golf lessons a requirement for its law and business students as preparation for the business world. Xiamen University joins the trend of Chinese schools to provide golf lessons, but unlike others, it will make it a required class.

Prosecutors say a teenager will be charged with misdemeanor littering after the bra she hung on a car antenna flew off and led to a highway accident. Emily Davis, 17, of Bowling Green told investigators she took her bra off while her friend, also 17, was driving on Interstate 75. A vehicle following the car crashed and rolled several times after swerving to avoid the bra.

Ice cream maker Good Humor has partnered with pet food producer Pedigree to produce ice cream sandwiches for dogs. The Pedigree Ice Cream Sandwich Treats for Dogs will be dairy-based with the same texture as ice cream, but only 1 percent lactose because many pooches are lactose intolerant.
