Police are on the lookout for the men responsible for a rash of armed robberies targeting ice cream trucks. Some ice cream truck drivers who usually ride around apartment complexes in MetroWest Orlando, an area known for skyrocketing crime rates, said they will never return out of fear.

The police had an easy time finding a suspect involved in the theft of handguns from a Wasilla home when the woman whose home was burglarized found the suspect in her home's garage, wearing her sweatshirt. Lisa Siepert, 38 on Sunday called the police to report that a stranger broke into her home and removed two handguns, food and alcohol. Upon searching the garage, she found an unknown man sitting inside her neighbor's vehicle.

Police in Tijuana, Mexico got their guns backs over the weekend after three weeks of having to use slingshots to fight crime. The officers had been forced to turn their weapons over because of allegations that they were working with drug traffickers. Initially, officers refused to patrol, saying it was too dangerous. However, most eventually returned to work and some took to carrying slingshots. The officers turned over their guns after President Felipe Calderon sent soldiers and federal agents to Tijuana to fight gangs.

The Christmas season might be the time for everyone to take a break from their jobs, but not for robbers and thieves in Lake Clarke Shores, Florida. Surpassing its normal limit of only a dozen robberies per year, the place has seen 14 house robberies in the last month.

Russian doctor Petr Pomozov has joined the booming custom-made condoms industry by coming up with his own line. The urologist from the Russian capital of Moscow said he started making custom-fit condoms after a number of his patients complained of problems finding the perfect fit for them. He said business was booming when he started selling his condoms privately to individuals. His condoms offer special motifs and pictures on it.
