Dan Harris, UK Rubik's Speedcubing Champion, is a strong contender for the Rubik's Cube World Championship this Sunday, which marks the 25th Anniversary of the birth of the Rubik's Cube, brainchild of Hungarian designer and architect, Professor Erno Rubik. The second official Rubik's World Championship will be held at the Walt Disney Pop Century Resort in Florida on Sunday, November 6.

An employee at the National Institute of Health is arrested Monday on charges of spreading false information and reporting a hoax under the Terrorism Prevention Act, after she threatened Florida tax assessors with anthrax following a lost claim for tax relief. According to her arrest warrant, Michelle Ledgister, 43, a quality control and assurance officer at the agency's Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, left a threatening voicemail message last month at the Broward County Property Appraiser's Office after she lost a claim for tax relief on property she owns in Parkland, Florida.

Investigators are still trying to figure out what caused a huge fight at Astroworld, involving nearly 100 people, Monday night. A spokeswoman for Six Flags Astroworld told the Local 2 channel the melee broke out as the park was preparing to close. The ruckus spread out onto the streets and into a nearby Shell gas station and McDonald's, where other smaller fights broke out as a result.

A high school senior is regreting his decision to wear a prom dress to his prom after being cited $249 for disorderly conduct, suspended for three days, and benched for his last track meet. According to a police report is was more then the dress that landed the 18-year-old into trouble. School district administrator Jim Gottinger claims senior Kerry Lofy was dancing provocatively in a sexual manner while donning the dress.
