Lobster Holds On To Man's Lost Wallet

A man who lost his wallet during a late-night swim in the ocean after a night of drinking was sure it was gone for good, but a bit later he got a suprising phone call telling him it had been turned in. He was even more suprised when he learned how it had been recovered - a diver had found a lobster with the wallet clenched between its claws. After the diver spotted the lobster, he picked it up and pried the wallet from its pincers. Finding a business card inside, the diver took the wallet to the swimmer's hair salon and handed it over to the salon's employees.

300 People Get Mysterious Rash In Mo. Park

Clayton, MO (AHN)-More than 300 people have called health officials to report a mysterious rash that children developed after playing in a mud-filled obstacle course at The Mighty Mud Mania festival late last month, in which about 5,000 people attended Mike Williams, director of communicable disease control for St. Louis County says that health officials confirmed 23 cases of folliculitis, an inflammation of hair follicles caused by contact with certain bacteria.

Saudi Arabia Allows Photography In Public Places

In an effort to attract more visitors to the country, the conservative kingdom of Saudi Arabia has lifted a ban on photography in public areas. Though, a royal decree allowing photography in many public places was issued about a year ago, and the interior ministry enacted it earlier this week. "People can now take pictures of tourist sites, architectural landmarks, shopping malls as well as government buildings where there is no sign banning photography," an interior ministry official told Reuters on Thursday.

Scientists: Man's Vanity Dates Back To Prehistoric Times

Man is vain in nature. At least that is what scientists in Dublin, Ireland have found after examining prehistoric bodies found in the peat bogs of Ireland. The Times says at least two prehistoric bodies, which were estimated to be 2,300 years old, showed evidence of male grooming.

Male Moths Captured To Stop Caterpillar Plague

Local officials in the Belgian city of Bree have begun capturing male moths in an attempt to check a plague of hairy caterpillars. Officials are using love traps coated with female hormones to attract the moths inside. Reuters quotes Patrick Hermans, head of the city of Bree's environmental department, as saying, "We are now making an experiment. " Hermans adds that, "We are using a female sex hormone that makes the males come to the traps. They fall in and die. "
