German passengers, delayed on a British Airlines flight at Berlin's Tegal Airport due to heavy weather conditions, are suing the airline claiming 'false imprisonment' for having to wait inside the airplane for over four hours during the delay. A British Airways spokesman confirms the flight from Berlin to London was stopped, after one of the passengers called police on his cellular phone.

Commonwealth Bank in Australia apologized Monday for advising its staff to wear flesh-colored underwear and avoid shiny stockings because they make legs look plumper. As one of the country's largest banks, it distributed its "grooming handbook" to the retail banking staff. The guide says that women should wear two rings or less on each hand and recommends that earrings should be no bigger than a small coin, reports Reuters.

A 35-year-old Austrian man put his hands under a train so his fingers would be severed and he could collect an insurance pay-out, according to prosecutors in Austria. The suspect, a former false fingernail designer, told police he was riding his bicycle when he lost control and rolled down an embankment onto rail tracks just as a train was passing. He lost a thumb on one hand and an index finger and a pinky on the other.
