According to one British University scholar, June 23 is the happiest day of the year.
In an AFP report, Cliff Arnall, with the University of Cardiff, stated that he came up with that date after analyzing factors, like outdoor activities, nature, social interaction, childhood memories, temperature and holidays over a 15 year period and interviewing 3,000 people.
Arnall says, "People across borders experience happiness when they meet with friends and family and establish close social relationships. We need some close emotional ties."
On the other side of the spectrum, Arnall stated that he has already figured out what is the saddest day of the year. It was January 23, which happened to be a Monday.
