Darts injuries are on the rise in the Netherlands as more people attempt to play the game at home. A spokeswoman for the Dutch consumer safety association says most of the injuries are caused by players throwing their darts before opponents have finished getting their own, reports Reuters.

A new study released Friday suggests that altruistic love breeds better marriages. The study questioned participants on the merits of sacrifice as it relates to love and according to Tom Smith of the National Opinion Research Center at the University of Chicago, "Altruistic love was associated with greater happiness in general and especially with more marital happiness. "

The Pentagon has launched a new initiative aimed at creating more happy couples. The program, called "How To Avoid Marrying a Jerk," aims to teach troops the correct way to choose a spouse. The Defense Department says that more than 56,000 people in the Army have divorced since 2001, when the Afghanistan campaign began. Those numbers show that strain of war, distance and long period of time spent apart have taken their toll on troops' relationships.
