UFOs once visited Britain's Princes William and Harry's air force base, it has been claimed. Former Ministry of Defense head of extra-terrestrial investigations Nick Pope says the March 1993 sighting at RAF Shawbury was one of the most "fascinating" cases he worked on.

He told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "One fascinating case I investigated lasted for six hours in March 1993 - a UFO that flew over many parts of the U.K."

The flight test of a "flying taxi" has failed with tragic result when the futuristic transporter crashed and killed its British inventor in a Malaysian town.

Michael Robert Dacre, 53, was test flying a prototype of his Jetpod in Taiping when it crashed and burst into flames killing him. Witnesses told a local paper that the flying taxi failed to take off sev eral times before the fatal accident.

A pilot buried his badly injured companion in sand with his head out so he would not freeze to death after their helicopter crashed in crocodile-infested mudflats in northern Australia Sunday.

Rescuers were surprised to find the injured man buried in the sand up to his neck upon arriving in Dundee Beach, Northern Territory. But an official of CareFlight, the medical rescue helicopter team, said the man may not have survived the cold night had he been exposed and praised the pilot for burying him in sand.

Britain's Prince Harry accidentally flashed his underwear to a hoard of female onlookers. The 24-year-old royal went into a changing tent to get out of his sweaty clothes after playing in a charity polo match, but exposed his black boxer shorts to the world after he forgot to put the curtains of his tent closed.

A source told Britain's Daily Star newspaper: "A lot of girls hang around hoping for a glimpse of the princes but this time they got a real eyeful. When Harry spotted his audience he broke into a huge grin."

The Hotelicopter Company announced today it has created the world's first flying hotel. Housed in the largest helicopter ever produced are 18 luxury guest rooms and even a spa.

The Hotelicopter is modeled after the Soviet-made helicopter Mil V-12. There were only two prototypes of this ever made, and the founders of the company bought one in 2004. The original prototype had its first flight in Russia in 1968 and still holds several flight records, according to a statement from The Hotelicopter Company.
