According to a Reuters report, people who solicit prostitutes in Oakland, California, could find their faces plastered on billboards under a new shaming program - civil rights groups call the program bad public policy. The city started putting up billboards on Wednesday showing men arrested for soliciting sex. Other signs invite prostitutes to quit by calling a help line.

Police are seeking criminal charges against several adults who attacked a rugby coach, leaving him bloody and unconscious. 55-year old Craig Stewart was kicked in the face and head during a girls' rugby game Saturday. The fight began after the referee ordered a spectator off the field and was punched in the face three times by the brother of the opposing team's coach. Stewart, attempting to help the referee, intervened and held the attacker on the ground until poice arrived. That's when the attacker's brother and up to eight other adults ambushed Stewart.

Bremen's state economy and culture senator resigns after cameras catch him pouring wine over an unsuspecting homeless man's head at a public event celebrating the start of German wine week. The homeless man, Udo Oelschlaeger, was standing next to the podium where Peter Gloystein was speaking. After his speech, Gloystein emptied a magnum of sparkling wine over the man's head.

Blood from sheep butchered in a religious ritual at one of South Africa's busiest tourist beaches could lure sharks towards those in the water. The Leader of the Healing Oracle, Prophet Moses Michael said the ritual was inspired by the Old Testament to help cure sick people.
