A high school football coach has been charged with pimping a 15-year-old girl in Maryland.

According to police in Prince George's County, Arron J. Burroughs, a junior varsity assistant football coach at Bowie High School has been charged with first-degree child sexual abuse and denied bail pending a trial.

According to Channing Phillips, a spokesman for the U.S. attorney's office, the crime came to light after police found the young teen engaging in a sex act at 3 a.m. at a local park with an adult male.

According to the Washington Post, which obtained the charging document, the girl told police that Burroughs - who is also a Metrobus driver - repeatedly took her to the District to engage in prostitution beginning in September. She said Burroughs, 35, also had sex with her, starting when she was 14, the document says.
