Krystal Long and Casey Isringhouse have won college scholarships, thanks to their ingenious prom outfits, made completely out of duct tape.
The 18-year-olds won a national contest for designing and creating their outfits, which they based on the Pablo Picasso painting, "Girl Before a Mirror."
Long designed a two-piece formal with an a-line skirt and backless top, while Isringhouse made a classic black tux and vest, matching Long's dress.
The couple says the reactions they received were worth the extremely hot and heavy conditions.
The outfits took four weeks to make, using 25 rolls of duct tape. Long and Isringhouse each won $2,500 scholarships from the makers of Duck-R-Brand duct tape.
