Students at West Brunswick High School are being escorted to the restroom as a result of several fires started in the restrooms.

Some students donned t-shirts with prison numbers on them and even teachers say they don't like treating their students like children but the school principal said the kids must learn responsibility.

About one month ago administrators decided to put a stop to the fires breaking out in the bathrooms, which set off the fire alarm and disrupted class. The students who set the fires were caught through video surveillance. Principal Jim Jordan said the rules might loosen but will not go away.

He said, "It's sort of a life lesson were trying to teach kids. It takes all of us together to be a good school, not one individual."
