The "butt-printing-artist" Stephen Murmer has reportedly been suspended by Chesterfield County school officials saying he may be setting a bad example for students through his outside artistic activities.
Murmer an art teacher at Monacan High School, is known for creating floral and abstract art by plastering his posterior and genitals with paint and pressing them against canvas.
According to AP reports, his paintings sell for hundreds of dollars.
Chesterfield County schools spokeswoman Debra Marlow told AP that Murmer was placed on administrative leave on Friday.
However, the American Civil Liberties Union of Virginia says the act of suspension is not in favor of Murmer's First Amendment rights.
