The London Natural History Museum is exhibiting one of the largest giant squids ever put on display. BBC News reports that a trawler captured the squid off the coast of the Falkland Islands. Measuring 28 feet, it is one of the most complete squids ever found.

Adventurer Steve Fossett will have to wait to break the world record for the longest flight. A fuel leak forced his crew to scrub today's takeoff from Florida. Fossett hopes to fly more than 27-thousand miles in 80 hours. After wind concerns at Kennedy Space Center returned to optimal levels, mechanical problems forced the delay of Steve Fossett's flight.

Police say a 49-year-old man who allegedly beat his grandmother and great aunt to death 30 years ago has married an 87-year-old woman. Frank Czumalowski married Radmila Dobrijevickan in Bridgeport, Connecticut on Tuesday.

This small New Hampshire town is quietly celebrating and honoring the legacy of Christa McAuliffe, the teacher who was aboard the ill-fated Challenger mission. The shuttle exploded 20 years ago just after lift-off in front of NASA officials, the astronauts' families, students and others.
