A booming real estate market has Canadian marijuana growers looking toward cheaper land in northern Ontario as a way to cut down on costs. In the past two weeks, police say they have made two massive pot busts in sparsely populated towns in northern Ontario, a region better known for its mining, timber and paper mills.

The UK's Royal Mail has given a remote island by the name of Tristan Da Cunha its first postal code. Action was taken after residents complained that they could not order items online because few companies would send goods to the UK territory in the South Atlantic. To make matters worse, citizens have had difficulty receiving their mail out of confusion because its capital is called Edinburgh.

Michigan State University now offers students a minor in video games. Beginning next month, the school will offer the Specialization in Game Design and Development program to teach future video game designers.
