A study published in the New Scientist journal revealed that shorter men are more prone to jealousy than taller men, suggesting that men who do not live up to the 'ideal height' harbor insecurities. The study conducted by Netherlands-based University of Groningen is considered as a possible proof of the so-called 'Napoleon complex' or 'short man syndrome' where short men compensate for their lack of height through aggressive tendencies, often associated with leaders with strong personalities such as Napoleon, Mussolini, and Hitler.

A New Zealand couple has been told that their newborn son can't be named 4real, a name Pat and Sheena Wheaton picked out after being hit with the reality of the pregnancy after their first ultrasound. "For most of us, when we try to figure out what our names mean, we have to look it up in a baby's book and . . . there's no direct link between the meaning and the name," Pat Wheaton told TV One, according to the Associated Press, "With this name, everyone knows what it means. "

A 1939 Auto Union D-Type, a racing car commissioned by dictator Adolf Hitler is expected to become the most expensive car ever sold at an auction. Christie's Auction House is set to auction the D-Type, believed to be one of only two in existence, in February in Paris, France. It was created by Ferdinand Porsche after a personal request from Hitler who wanted the car to be one of his propaganda tools to show off the technological superiority of the Third Reich.

A junior at Brooklyn's Leon M. Goldstein High School caused a fuss Tuesday when he arrived at school dressed as Adolf Hitler for Halloween. School administrators demanded he take off his beige coat decorated with a swastika armband, telling him he would have to spend the day in detention if he failed to do so. But 16-year-old Walter Petryk, who went so far as growing a mustache to complete his get-up, refused. He said his costume was a satire of Hitler and was protected by his right to freedom of expression.

The world's oldest woman, Maria Esther de Capovilla, succumbs to pneumonia on Sunday. She was 116. Relatives say she died in Ecuador's coastal city of Guayaquil. Her funeral was scheduled for Monday.
