The world's oldest woman, Maria Esther de Capovilla, succumbs to pneumonia on Sunday. She was 116. Relatives say she died in Ecuador's coastal city of Guayaquil. Her funeral was scheduled for Monday.

The owner of a restaurant named after Adolf Hitler said he will change the restaurant's name. The owner said he chose the name only to attract attention. The restaurant is named "Hitler's Cross" and uses a Nazi swastika on its billboards and menu. The name caused a lot of controversy in the community, especially in the Jewish community.

A Hitler-themed restaurant that opened last week in India's major financial district is causing an uproar. The restaurant's title - "Hitler's Cross" - refers to the swastika that symbolized the Nazi regime, and the restaurant's interior is decorated in red, white and black - the colors of the Nazi party. The road leading up to Hitler's Cross is lined with posters, one of which reads "From Small Bites to Mega Joys. " An enormous portrait of Hitler is the first thing visitors see when they open the door.

Theodore Junker, who claims to be a former SS officer in Nazi Germany, is preparing to open a museum that honors Adolf Hitler. "It's interesting since most people are one-sided informed, and they don't know the other side. He was the greatest man ever," the Associated Press quotes Junker as saying.

School authorities at Northport High School in New York apologized after two high school seniors included quotations from Adolf Hitler's book -- "Mein Kampf" next to their high school yearbook pictures. Irene McLaughlin, the school's principal apologized for allowing the books to go out without editing the comments. School authorities admitted they read the quotes before the books were released.
