A 26-year-old obese Chinese man first collapsed and then died last weekend after playing Internet video games non-stop for several hours. The man, who has only been identified Zhang from the city of Jinzhou hailed from China's Liaoning Province. According to the reports in China Daily, Zhang died Saturday after a continuous gaming session. Doctors said his death was caused by "overwork and obesity. "

Desperate to show off his girlfriend to his parents over the Lunar New Year holiday, a Chinese university student posted a notice saying he wanted to "rent" a girlfriend for 10 days. Zhu Lijie, a physics student, posted the notice on a bulletin board at Peking University offering 1,000 yuan ($130) to a woman who would act as his girlfriend for the trip home for the Lunar New Year holiday, which starts Feb. 18 this year. It is touted as the most important family holiday in China.

One student is offering $130 to a woman willing to pose as his girlfriend to impress his parents during the holidays. Zhu Lijie, a Peking University student in China, posted an advertisement on a bulletin board asking that a woman pretend to be his partner for 10 days during the Lunar New Year holiday.
