The study, conducted among the lottery players, also revealed that 20 per cent of winners, who were previously single, had ended up getting married in a short time.

' The cyber-term refers to Zinedine Zidane's head-butting of Marco Materazzi in the final match of the football World Cup, between France and Italy. The incident was apparently the result of a provocation by Materazzi - supposedly it was an insult to a couple members of Zidane's family.

According to one British University scholar, June 23 is the happiest day of the year. In an AFP report, Cliff Arnall, with the University of Cardiff, stated that he came up with that date after analyzing factors, like outdoor activities, nature, social interaction, childhood memories, temperature and holidays over a 15 year period and interviewing 3,000 people.

Serving an unusual punishment for not doing a good job, Kyrgyzstan's President has banned top officials in his Central Asian state from taking holidays until later this year. The nation has been plagued by violence and crime since President Kurmanbek Bakiyev came to power in a revolution last year. "I'll take measures if I find out that even one of the ministers has gone on holidays before December," Bakiyev told top government officials during a meeting on Monday, according to a statement on the presidential Web site.
