A 29-year-old woman from Hong Kong slipped in her bathroom and ended up swallowing her toothbrush. Despite a 15 cm long toothbrush in her throat, the woman somehow managed to dial 999, the emergency help line, and called for an ambulance.

The South China Morning Post reported that the incident took place when the woman slipped on the bathroom floor and the plastic toothbrush jammed in her throat.

Luckily, doctors were able to extract the toothbrush through endoscopic surgery. According to a hospital spokesman, the woman is now recovering and her condition is listed as stable.
