Police official said on Monday that a 64-year-old Australian man was charged with drunk driving while on his motorized wheelchair in a northern Australian highway. Officials said the old man fell asleep at 10 a. m. on Friday in an exit lane near the tourist city of Cairns along the Captain Cook Highway in northern Queensland.

The man, who has yet to collect his winnings, correctly guessed the outcome of eight horse races in London. He placed wagers on eight horses in eight different contests in what is called 'accumulator bet'. Even the name of his bets, horses 'Isn't That Lucky' and 'A Dream Come True', forebode good luck for the bettor.

A Japanese soldier from World War II stationed in Burma (now Myanmar), sent a postcard to his friend was received after 64 years after it was sent. The postcard was kept by a former U. S. soldier and a Japanese exchange student. According to Mukogawa Women's University, the card traveled in three different countries and one state, including Burma, Nagasaki, Arizona and Hawaii before reaching Shizuo Nagano, 80, in southern Kochi prefecture.

A man in Connecticut is suing his neighbor over the smell. The man claims he can't sell his house because the smell of horse manure is so strong that no one wants to buy it. Documents filed in Superior Court claim that Gino Sciortino cannot sell him home because his neighbor Helen Catlin is allowing large amounts of horse manure to pile up on her property and the smell drifts over.

Chubby and overweight animals in a South Korean zoo will be put on a diet after almost ten years of eating processed foods. Animals at the Seoul Grand Park zoo had been eating more than the normal amount of food intake per day so the animal management have decided to increase amount of their natural food intake and decrease the processed foods.
