For missing out on his original bet, a man has won over $150,000 for placing a $38 bet on horses he does not like. According to The Sun newspaper, the lucky man who does not want to be identified, had wanted to bet on a seven-horse accumulator.

A man who entered a home illegally and stripped his clothes was later caught by police running naked through a nearby pasture chasing horses. The incident happened Wednesday when a man entered Linda Smith's home through an unlocked door, headed to her bedroom saying he was sent there to have sex with her, police said. Recalling the incident to Texarkana Gazette, Smith said, "I told him I didn't think so and that he needed to leave. "

Police in Xian, China removed an art student who stood among the famous Terracotta Warriors wearing a military costume. German native Pablo Wendel snuck into the pit where about 2,000 lifesize warriors and horses are standing. He put on a homemade military costume and stood on a pedestal.

The Del Mar Thoroughbred Club gave a warm welcome to 1,000 sailors from the USS Ronald Reagan as it returned from a deployment to the Persian Gulf. The track held a USS Ronald Reagan Day to honor the sailors who brought the aircraft carrier home from its first deployment.

The largest private collection of Barbie dolls totaling 4,000 and covering the entire history of Barbie and her friends as far back as 1959 will be up for sale next month. The comprehensive collection belongs to a Dutch mother. Daniel Agnew, toy expert at auction house Christie's, tells Reuters, "This is a collection of virtually everything -- and most of it is in mint condition as it has never been taken out of its boxes, making it particularly highly prized. "
