A man's pocket was ignited by a cell phone that caused severe burns over half his body, and burned his hotel room. Luis Picaso, 59, suffered from second- and third-degree burns found on his upper body, back, right arm and right leg.

Even staying at a pricey Hilton Hotel and sleeping on luxury linens doesn't guarantee freedom from being bitten by bed bugs. Soprano Alison Trainer slept at the Phoenix Hilton Suites between Nov. 20 and Nov. 26, and said she was bitten 150 times and traumatized by the bugs who shared her bed. Trainer has sued Hilton Hotels Corp. for $6 million claiming it was a "horrific" experience that resulted in a fear of sleeping in a bed, caused her to lose weight and affected her physical appearance.

The renowned hotel chain Ritz-Carlton has come up with a new program called "privileged pup" that offers personal massages for dogs to make them more relaxed. The Ritz-Carlton hotel in Sarasota, Florida, is offering the doggie spa experience for the cost of $130 per pet. Additionally, the hotel also provides gourmet dog biscuits, an in-room pet massage, a choice of nail buffing or nail polish and a souvenir photo for $220. Yes, it also includes a brisk walk.

An elderly man, 78, found his car after a day of searching through the aid of the traffic warden who had given him a ticket. Police said the man had left his car in the town center to go to an appointment with his tax adviser and had forgotten the parking location.

One police officer didn't know if people should call him the grinch after arresting a man for stealing Christmas gifts for his "Honey Bunny. " Richard Perez, 43 was caught stealing items from the hotel where he works as a security guard. A surveillance camera caught him leaving a hotel room with a covered cart.
