The wife of British Prime Minister Tony Blair was questioned by child protection officials when she only pretended to slap one of the boys. The incident happened when Cherie Blair was being photographed with teenager Miles Gandolfi at the U. K. Schools Games sports event in Glasgow, Scotland, when the 17-year-old boy in question jokingly raised his hand behind her head to make a "bunny ears" gesture.

A Taiwanese model who made fun of her country's public toilets and those who use them has been barraged with criticism on the Internet, with Chinese Web users demanding a public apology. Jessy Meng joked around about the toilet situation of the Taiwan talk show "Red Storm" last week, saying, "Many mainland toilets don't have doors and even when they do, most people don't even shut the door!"

At least 12 marijuana trees were discovered growing outside the front door of West Duluth police station in Minnesota. The discovery came after Janna Goerdt, a reporter of the Duluth News Tribune overheard a rival news team talking about "something interesting" in front of the police station. She decided to investigate on the matter.

A rundown car described as the "biggest pile of crap on Ebay" finds fame on the Internet by generating 34,000 hits and selling for about $549. The surprising popularity of the entry prompted the owner to turn it into an event for charity. The owner is Jason McCluskey, 31, a chef from Portsmouth on the southern English coast. He had listed his beat up 1985 Volkswagen Polo for sale starting at 12 cents for "a bit of light-hearted humor".
