According to an AP report, a couple got caught up in rush hour traffic in Miami on Wednesday as husband, Gerardo Mira. The soon to be father nervously took a wrong turn on his way to the hospital, because his wife, Lilliam Mira, was in labor.

The husband ended up having to pull their vehicle off the road and give birth to his own baby as his wife received instructions on the phone from a 911 operator. The emergency operator told them how to use shoelaces to tie off the baby's umbilical cord.

The couple and their 7 pound, 5 ounce baby named Fabio finally arrived at the Miami hospital in good condition. This was their third child.
