A Swiss distributor stated that British health food shops will soon be offering iced cannabis tea to customers.
"C-Ice Swiss Cannabis Ice Tea" will contain five percent hemp flower syrup and a very tiny amount of THC, the active ingredient in marijuana.
The distributor also stated that any ingredients, that could land the tea on the drugs list, will be removed and that the tea will not lead to dependency.
The iced cannabis tea was first produced in Switzerland back in 2003 and has since also been sold in Austria, Germany, the Netherlands, Portugal and Spain.
However, British anti-drug campaigners are stating that selling the tea is dangerous because it will give young people the impression that cannabis is commonplace.
