The government of President Hugo Chavez will replace an 8-foot-tall glass monument to Ernesto "Che" Guevara that was smashed by vandals who called the icon a "cold-blooded killer. " The shattered monument, shown Friday on state television, was unveiled less than two weeks ago on Oct. 8 by Vice President Jorge Rodriguez and Cuba's ambassador to Venezuela to mark the 40th anniversary of Guevara's death.

"Hello Kitty" - the Japanese animation character has found a new job in the Thai police department. The cute round-faced cat will now punish any officer in Bangkok who is late, parks in the wrong place or commits other minor transgressions. The bad cops breaking the rules will be made to wear the large, bright pink Hello Kitty armband, which has two hearts embroidered on it.

Britain's late Princess Diana's childhood bicycle is to go on show at an Essex toy museum Friday. The Tracker bike - which the princess rode when she was aged seven - will be displayed at Standsted's The House on the Hill Toy Museum. Alan Goldsmith, owner of the Essex attraction, which claims to be the largest privately owned toy museum in Europe, purchased the bike for $ 2,671.

Looks like former Spice Girl and ultimate 'Footballer's Wife' Victoria 'Posh' Spice can't get a break. The former singer and aspiring fashion icon hasn't even started her All-American campaign just yet, and already a designer is trying to persuade her to stay put in England. New t-shirts emblazoned with the slogan "Free Becks, Keep Posh" have already gone on sale in an attempt to have soccer star David Beckham come to America sans his pouty wife.

The world's oldest person at the age of 115, Emiliano Mercado del Toro, has died after suffering from fever and breathing problems in his Puerto Rico home. Del Toro also nicknamed "Don Emiliano," was suppose to turn 116 this August but had seemed to lose the will to live, according to family.
