Farmer Accused of Fake Tiger Photo Returns to Forest

Chinese farmer Zhou Zhenglong, 52, has gone back into the wilderness to take more photos of the tiger, in an effort to refute accusations that the photo he earlier submitted was a fake. A former hunter in the Chengguan Township of Zhenping County, Zhou said that he planned to track down the tiger and bring back more photographs. He has been searching for tiger tracks for the past three days.

South Korea In Gender Row Over Banknotes

South Korea has sparked a gender row following its decision to print banknotes featuring the face of a woman who symbolizes motherhood in the country. The country's Central Bank has chosen to print the new 50,000 won note with the image of Shin Saimdang, the first woman to feature in the country's currency notes.

Study Shows WAGs More Serious In Their Studies

Contrary to common notion that WAGs are nothing but party-loving clothes animals, a recent study conducted among sports wives and girlfriends revealed they are actually serious in their studies. The government-funded Learning and Skills Council (LSC), says most of the so-called "Wags,' the popular acronym for wives and girlfriends of sportsmen, gained at least the equivalent of five good General Certificate of Certified Secondary Education (GCSE).

Vandals Destroy Che Guevarra Monument

The government of President Hugo Chavez will replace an 8-foot-tall glass monument to Ernesto "Che" Guevara that was smashed by vandals who called the icon a "cold-blooded killer. " The shattered monument, shown Friday on state television, was unveiled less than two weeks ago on Oct. 8 by Vice President Jorge Rodriguez and Cuba's ambassador to Venezuela to mark the 40th anniversary of Guevara's death.

U.K. Girl Unknowingly Had "Friend From Hell" Tattooed On Her Back

A teenage-girl just wanted to impress her mother by having the word "mum" tattooed on her back in Chinese letters. After the tattoo was completed, the girl found out that the symbols meant "Friend from hell. " A local paper said Charlene Williams, 19, only discovered something was wrong with her tattoo when a passing Chinese woman shouted at her, "Evil, evil, very bad. "
