An principal trying to prevent walkouts during immigration rallies inadvertently introduced a lockdown so strict that children weren't allowed to go to the bathroom, and instead had to use buckets in the classroom. Worthington Elementary School Principal Angie Marquez imposed the lockdown March 27 as nearly 40,000 students across Southern California left classes to attend immigrants' rights demonstrations.

A mix-up by local immigration authorities in County Down in Northern Ireland has left a family separated for three weeks. Irene Malcolmson, a Philippine native who has been living in the UK with her British husband, was refused to enter the UK after she visited her native country to see her sick father. Authorities claimed that Malcolmson was entering the country as an illegal immigrant.

An activist who opposes illegal immigration acknowledges paying more than a dozen homeless people $10 each to hold signs during a rally earlier this week, but assures they agreed with his message. D. A. King, who spoke at the rally, says Wednesday he paid "14 willing American workers to let their voices be heard about illegal immigration. "

Thirty people involved in a South Florida marriage fraud rings have been indicted by Immigration officials. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement Officials have reportedly found more than 100 people using the fake marriages in order to legally immigrate into the United States.

A 27-year-old Guatemalan man is arrested after posing as an 18-year-old high school student. Josue Oswaldo Ramirez-Mejia told authorities he enrolled because he wanted to learn English and get a good education. Ramirez-Mejia was arrested in Pasco County and charged with uttering a forged instrument. He is being held on $5,000 bail.
