A prison inmate has pleaded guilty to sending letters to the FBI and secret service agents that included bomb and anthrax threats. He also went ahead and added his full name and inmate number ID.

Donald Ray Bilby, 30, pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court in Trenton to one count of false information and fraud after he mailed five letters demanding officials to deposit $20,000 in his county jail inmate account. He said he needed the money for bail.

U.S. Attorney Christopher Christie said in a statement, "I think it's fair to say we were not dealing with a great criminal mind here."

In all his letters Bilby signed his full name and wrote his inmate number below his name. In one of the letters, he included demands for money along with a paper labeled "anthrax" containing a powdery substance, which turned out to be harmless.
