After months of letters back and forth, an insurance company has finally paid out $10,000 to a man who hit a hole-in-one during a golf tournament.
Matt Santangelo made the lucky shot during a tournament sponsored by the Main Street Deland Association, for which the prize was $10,000.
However, according to WFTV, the insurance company that was paying out the prize money claimed Santangelo hit his tee shot from the wrong spot and offered only half the money. After five months and some stern letters, Santangelo finally received his $10,000 prize.
