A British insurance company on Friday announced it will start offering cheaper insurance policies to young drivers who agree to have a device incorporated in their cars to ensure that they do not drive at night. Insurance company, More Th>n, said it would launch a policy called Time Drive on August 6. The policy calls on consumers not to drive from 11. 00 p. m. and 6. 00 a. m. It was motivated by the fact that young motorists are more vulnerable to having road accidents, and most of them occur at night.

An Italian scooter rider racked up a record 144 points off his 20 point drivers license in a few minutes of reckless driving. The ANSA news agency reported that police in the northwestern Italian city of Turin chased the young rider after he evaded their attempts to stop him for breaking the law by not wearing a helmet on Tuesday evening.

Laura Lee Medley, who claimed that she was a paraplegic and repeatedly filed lawsuits for noncompliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, turned out to be a con with no physical limitations according to authorities. According to officials, Medley leaped out of her wheelchair and ran for freedom after being arrested by Las Vegas police.
