Vandals have destroyed an estimated $10,000 in sod, and possibly the livelihood of a family-owned business that has been farming since 1868. David Motz, owner of Motz Turf Farms, near Newtown in Ohio, says, an acre and a half of recently seeded grass, which is sold to developers and landscapers, was vandalized.

A mechanic says he was driving a Porsche back to its owner when he swerved to avoid a truck and smashed head-first into a telephone pole. Mechanic Chris Numme says he destroyed the $500,000 limited edition Porsche Carrera GT after doing minor body work on the vehicle.

A family is suing Greyhound Bus Lines after one of its buses dumped its sanitary tank, in the middle of the highway, covering the family and vehicle in human waste. According to the Toledo Blade, the family was identified as Robert and Angela Stokes and their three children.

A surrogate mother who sought to regain custody of triplets she delivered three years ago, has failed in her attempt to get the Pennsylvania Supreme Court to hear her case. According to an AP report, the state's highest court last week refused to hear an appeal filed by Danielle Bimber, who lost custody of the triplets to their biological father. The appeal came after a lower court ruled in April that Bimber could not challenge the custody rights of James Flynn. The triplets - all boys - have lived with Flynn in Kirtland, Ohio since the lower court ruling.

According to a research, more and more career women are freezing their eggs as they look it as a 'insurance' for having children in future. The research involved interviews of more than 20 women at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York who had chosen to freeze their eggs for future use.
