Britain's Queen Elizabeth was delivered 12 barrels of lager by mistake recently. Staff at the queen's Berkshire residence Windsor Castle were amazed when a lorry carrying 2,000 pints of lager arrived at the grounds, but a royal protection officer quickly realized the delivery was meant for a pub called Windsor Castle located five miles away.

The NASA confirmed its laptops carried aboard the International Space Stations in July were hit by the Gammima. AG computer virus. The virus was first noticed in August 2007 when the laptops were still on Earth. The laptops were used by the astronauts to monitor their nutrition programs and send emails back to Earth. It got infected because the laptops apparently had no anti-virus software.

Warner Bros. Television Group's upcoming website dubbed the "untelevised network" will stream new and classic TV series on the Internet via Facebook, Fancast. com and AOL. Online video network TheWB. com, set for launch on Aug. 27, will feature an original application that will integrate it with Facebook allowing content to flow on the popular social networking site. TheWB. com shows will also be distributed free across the Internet on Comcast Cable's Fancast. com.

The London-based mother of a seven-year-old girl kidnapped by her enigmatic American ex-husband in the U. S. on Sunday has posted a video on the Internet appealing for the return of her daughter. "Clark, although many things have changed, you will always be Reigh's father and I will always be Reigh's mother. We both love her dearly and have only her best interests and well-being in our hearts. I ask you now, please please bring Snooks back. There has to be a better way for us to solve our differences than this way," Sandra Boss, 41, said on YouTube.

The Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) has found an Internet phone call center at fault for misdirecting an ambulance in a 911 call that caused a baby's death. With the CRTC investigation of Melvin and Khadija Luck's complaint finding that Comwave's 911 call center agent failed to confirm the new address of the family's home in Calgary, the couple plans to sue the company for damages.
