A Davenport, Iowa couple is suing Wal-Mart stores after his wife slipped over a puddle of vomit in the store. According to the lawsuit filed by June Medema and her husband James last month, the wife slipped on June 13, 2005.

The lawsuit, which was reportedly filed in Scott County District Court earlier this month, claims that Medema was seriously injured in the fall and blames Wal-Mart's negligence for her fall.

AP reports that the lawsuit however does not specifically say how the store was negligent. The lawsuit also adds that Medema suffered serious neck and upper back injuries in the fall and has undergone several surgeries and is unable to work.
