If you thought property prices in New York and San Francisco were bad, check out the cost of a 200 square foot home in Ireland.

Named Neptune Cottage, it has no electricity, no toilet and no sewage capabilities. But it is selling for $145,000 in Ireland's Wicklow county, reports Reuters.

"They don't come up that often, which is why it's generating so much interest," said Roisin O'Grady, an assistant at auctioneers Hassett who put the property on the market.

The new owner would not have a quiet home as the property sits in front the Dublin-Rosslare rail line. It does have a view of the beach from the front, however.

The timber-framed home measures 15 feet 6 inches by 12 feet 8 inches. It has two small rooms, which includes a kitchen.

The cost of homes in Ireland tripled between 1997 and 2004, reports Reuters.
