An Israeli man found a French kiss of his girlfriend a bit too hard when she bit off part of his tongue Thursday.

The man got the tongue reattached at the Nahariya Hospital.

The hospital said in a statement that the man, injured during a passionate kiss with his girlfriend was discharged after the severed part was reattached.

The doctors advised the man to sip iced drinks and avoid wet kisses until the stitched wound healed.
