For some people, a white Christmas is just a dream and for others it can become a reality no matter where you live.

For Christmas this year Kimberly Shepard received a unique gift from her daughter, Courtney.

The younger Shepard decided that if her mother wasn't going to go to snow, it would come to her.

With the help of a friend, James Fontone, Courtney shoveled a truckload of flaky ice from behind an ice skating rink and spread it across her mother's lawn, creating the illusion of a white Christmas.

After returning from a party to see her house looking extra cold, Kimberly, who works with welfare recipients, said, "It made my whole Christmas season."
