Three thieves were arrested for stealing $1 million worth of bronze art and selling the raw materials to a junk shop for a measly $4,000. The owner of a Hinesburg scrap metal yard called authorities after seeing a newspaper report about the thefts with a photo of one of the sculptures.

The Philippines Bureau of Customs officials have seized several inflatable sex dolls to be used in an international campaign against animal cruelty, an animal rights group claimed Thursday. According to the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals or PETA, they planned to use the sex toys to protest against a major U. S. fast food chain who allegedly abuse chickens.

Some 200 factory workers from Beijing's eastern towns were gathered for a practice cheer session at the national stadium on Monday in the latest lecture on the subject. Four war-displaced Japanese who were living in China after the World War II have finally arrived home on Monday. The three men and one woman were recognized by the Japanese and Chinese governments as "war orphans" Zhao Ji, 65, Li Fengchao, 65, Liu Guoxin, 66, and Chen Fenglan, 67, will visit Japan; there is no word on if they will stay. An appointment was made with Liu and his possible half brother in Ibaraki on Wednesday. "I want to hear about my father and myself," said Liu. "I would like to visit my father's grave and Miyagi Prefecture, where my roots are. "

Giant bra maker Triumph International has unveiled a 'chopsticks bra' in Japan hoping to cutting down on disposable chopstick. "Its small step, but because many Japanese chopsticks are disposable, big chunks of forests are being cut down," Triumph spokesperson Hiromi Shinta said. "So we thought we could help promote the use of 'My Chopsticks' and help cut down on disposable chopsticks. "
