A new survey has uncovered women's true opinions regarding make-up and the beauty industry, and it isn't always pretty. The website news. com. au asked a total of 1,898 people about their feelings on how attractive they felt without make-up on and if they believed the extensive cosmetic advertising campaigns.

Fitchburg police recently got a complaint against none other than the Mayor of the city himself for chasing a woman and scaring her. The incident occurred Monday morning after Mayor Tom Clauder saw a woman pulling out a campaign sign near City Hall, and decided to discover the identity of the woman. To much of Clauder's surprise the woman turned out to be the wife of his opponent, Jeff Nytes, who lost the city elections against him.

A 23-month-old toddler in Britain will never grow up. Alex Connerty, who is only 2ft 4in, is the only primordial dwarf in Britain and is fated to spend his adult life standing less than 3ft tall. Primordial dwarfism is a rare form of dwarfism that results in a smaller body size in all stages of life beginning from before birth. It is estimated that there are only 100 individuals in the world's history who have had the disorder, 40 of them in the U. S. It is unlikely that sufferers of primordial dwarfism will live past the age of 30.

A Long Island, New York couple is suing a New York fertility clinic after it was discovered that the clinic used the. Reportedly clinicians used sperm from a black donor to conceive their daughter during in vitro fertilization. Nancy and Thomas Andrews said in documents filed in Manhattan Supreme Court that though they love their daughter Jessica, the whole incident has left them "emotionally devastated. "

American Idol isn't the only "Idol" making international news. In Australia, siblings competing for the "Idol" spot are becoming rather common. This year, Jessica Mauboy, the 2006 Australian Idol Runner-up, may see older sister Catharine on the competition stage in front of Ian "Dicko" Dickson, Marcia Hines, Mark Holden, and Kyle Sandilands vying for the 2007 title. Lavina Williams, sister of 2005 runner-up Emily Williams, made it to the 2006 finals along with Chris Murphy, who is 2004 contestant Courtney's brother.
