Children in the U. S. could soon be playing with a talking Jesus toy, a bearded Moses, Daniel in the lion's den and other biblical figures, as company One2Believe convinced Wal-Mart to sell Bible-based toys to promote the Christian faith to children. David Socha, founder of One2believe, the company which manufactures the dolls said he is optimistic the demand for "God-honoring" toys will increase as children will be attracted to toys that focuses on Christian teachings and morality.

A fortune-teller from Maryland failed to turn over her own fate cards. Grace Uwanawich, known as "Mrs. Grace," was sentenced to 18 months in prison Monday after she pleaded guilty to one count of felony theft and two counts of fortunetelling, a misdemeanor in Montgomery County. According to prosecutors, Uwanawich defrauded her clients out of thousands of dollars after convincing them that she could crush the curse on their families.

A 68-year-old grandmother was walking to church Sunday morning in Brooklyn when a Mister Softee truck struck her, killing her on the spot, just a block from her apartment. Adelaide Rodriguez, who was on her way to the Caminando con Jesus (Walking with Jesus) Pentecostal church in Bushwick, reportedly never left her house, other than to go to services.

A small Texas town is worried that a cabinet maker who happens to have two wives and two dozen children will soon be their neighbor. Samuel Fischer is a member of the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints -- a denounced offshoot of the Mormon Church. Warren Jeffs, leader of the FCJC, currently awaits trial on charges he married off teenaged brides to older men.
