Long Island's infamous Joey Buttafuoco is sentenced to a year in jail for possessing ammunition as a felon.
He pleaded no contest after probation officers found the ammunition while searching his home in Chatsworth, California.
Buttafuoco, 50, gained notoriety after his teenage girlfriend, Amy Fisher, shot his wife at their Long Island, New York home.
Fisher spent seven years in prison, while Buttafuoco served four months for statutory rape.
In March 2004, Buttafuoco was sentenced to year in prison and five years' probation for insurance fraud.
The scam involved telling undercover investigators how to file false claims and cheat insurance companies.
