After telling police a fabricated story about being abducted, a 33-year-old man from Warner Robins was ordered to wear a placard proclaiming "I AM A LIAR" as an embarrassingly public punishment for his falsehood. The court ordered Craig Breuwet the punishment on Wednesday in lieu of facing trial for filing a false police report.

A U. K. truck dealer is selling his British Harrier fighter jet for $38,000. According to The Sun, Christ Kelly is participating in the Auto Trader exhibit to find a buyer for his jet and claims the Harrier saw action in the Falklands War against Argentina.

Kelly Romenesko, a French teacher at two Roman Catholic schools in Appleton, was fired when she and her husband decided to start a family using in vitro fertilization. The Catholic School system claimed that Romenesko violated a provision of her employment contract saying a teacher has to act in accordance with Catholic doctrine which holds IVF as morally wrong as it replaces the "natural" conjugal union between husband and wife and often results in destruction of embryos.

British high school students will be able to get class credit for puppet shows in a government plan being considered for 2008. High school students will be able to get credit for a project that is "a single piece of work requiring detailed planning, preparation and independent study" and education officials said that included works of art, plays and puppetry, according to published reports.
