In an attempt to improve the hand-eye coordination of kids, about 42 elementary schools from Sacramento, California participated in a unique two-day sport stacking competition.
Attended by over 300 students, the competition is a game in which participants must stack and unstack 12 specially designed plastic cups in the lowest possible time.
The Sacramento Bee reported that the game, invented by former physical education teacher Bob Fox, improves children's self-confidence as it is best for the non-athlete.
The kids who are unable to run because of asthma can also participate in stacking as it revolves around the pyramid shape. The player must take cups stacked inside each other and then transfer them into pyramids of various sizes. The game also has a world record at 7.41 seconds.
