A study conducted at the University of Alberta suggests that boys aged 13 and 14 in rural areas are more prone to access pornography material than their urban counterparts are. The study, involving 429 students aged 13 and 14 from 17 urban and rural schools across Alberta, revealed that one in three boys is a porn user. It also found boys were much more frequent viewers of pornography than girls were.

This 13-year-old child prodigy rose to fame at the tender age of 7 by performing an operation on an 8-year-old girl whose fingers were fused together after being burnt. He became India's youngest university student and is currently studying for a BSc in Chandigarh University, India. His mother claims that he began reading Shakespeare at the age of 3 and now possesses books such as Gray's Anatomy, and textbooks on surgery, anaesthesia, anatomy, physiology, Cancer, and others. Akrit claims to have mastered them with his daily habit of studying for an hour.

A Sheboygan mother is expected to be charged with two counts of misdemeanor child neglect for allegedly leaving her two children in a freezing car for 20 minutes while she went tanning. Police arrested the 27-year-old woman after two people spotted the children, ages 23 months and 10 years, in the car that was locked but not running.
