The constant admonition for kids to eat their veggies probably will not be heard often in the Krishna-Avanti school in northwest London. The school requires enrollees to be vegetarians. The school policy is criticized by Hindus who find the strict requirement favoring the Hare Krishna tradition. The school's leaning toward practices of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness, more known as Hare Krishna, is not surprising since the movement's vegan followers are behind the school administration.

Chinese parents were reported to be riding the hype on the upcoming Beijing Olympic Games slated in the country next year and they take too much inspiration in naming their newly born kids after the historic event.

Long Island high school principal Nicholas Restivo recently banned all Halloween costumes at the school, due to three senior girls who showed up at the school controversially dressed as the scantily-clad comic book hero, Captain Underpants. The girls were described to have been wearing beige-colored leotards and nude stockings, under white briefs, and red capes, as reported by the Associated Press. The report said that their choice of costume made them look naked.
