A 68-year-old grandmother was walking to church Sunday morning in Brooklyn when a Mister Softee truck struck her, killing her on the spot, just a block from her apartment. Adelaide Rodriguez, who was on her way to the Caminando con Jesus (Walking with Jesus) Pentecostal church in Bushwick, reportedly never left her house, other than to go to services.

In an enactment of what may sound as a scene from an action film, a man wrestled a wild leopard that entered his house and pinned it for 20 minutes until the park rangers arrived and took the cat away. The incident happened last week as Arthur Du Mosch, 49, was asleep with his family and a leopard entered through his bedroom window and hopped into his family bed.

A 44-year-old school bus driver in East Hartford, Connecticut had to be hospitalized on Tuesday when a wild turkey crashed through the windshield of her bus on Interstate 84. AP reports that the bus was carrying 36 fifth graders and four adults on a field trip from Windham when a wild turkey collided with it at about 9:35 a. m. The bus driver, Sheryl Dearborn was treated for lacerations to her head and face at Manchester Memorial Hospital.

Sick of the ever increasing amount of dog poop on the roads and parks, a bunch of preschoolers in Malmo, Sweden, have begun a neighborhood protest against it. On Wednesday, the young protestors marched on the streets in an attempt to force dog owners to scoop the poop.
