If you ever wonder what happens to all those items confiscated at airport security checkpoints, the answer is, they end up on eBay. Knives, scissors, furry handcuffs, a sausage grinder, even an electric palm tree are all for sale on the Internet auction site. The items have all been "voluntarily surrendered" at checkpoints in airports throughout the Northeast.

A survey released Friday shows more than 60 percent of Britons used makeshift items such as screwdrivers, scissors and earrings to remove food between their teeth. The National Dental Survey found that people used any nearby items to pick their teeth.

Three men prevented their father from committing bigamy by kidnapping him from his own wedding, the state-owned Sunday Mail reported. The three men, who accuse their father of neglecting their mother, brandished axes and knives at wedding guests before bundling their father into a car and whisking him away, says Reuters.
