Chaos during a shoe sale Friday resulted in one customer being rushed to the hospital after being shot in the foot. Customers overloaded a two story retail store in Karabuk, which was selling shoes for a little as $6. When store owners tried to close its doors due to the large crowd customers rebelled and fights began to break out.

The U. S. Army's 1st Infantry Division, often called the "Big Red One," will leave its host country of Germany at Victory Park on Leighton Barracks. The Big Red One will return to the United States and officially make camp at Fort Riley, Kansas, on August 1. The move to Kansas means the division will help train foreign security forces in support of operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom.

A foolish move, leaves a tax collector $28,000 short, after he accidentally left the money in a bag on top of a toilet seat in a restaurant. When the tax collector realized that he had left the money there, he went back to find that the cash was no longer there.

A woman left her friend as "security" at a gas station after running out of money, but failed to come back for her friend or pay for the gas. The 20-year-old told an attendant in Muenchberg, Bavaria that she would rush to the nearest ATM and leave her friend Maria Hundstorfer, as collateral for her promise to pay.
