Detectives had an easy time tracking down a robbery suspected after he allegedly left his credit card on the scene and fled. Irving Batiz, of 128 Elm St. , Valley Stream first agreed to purchase an electronic drum music machine from a music store but then changed his mind. Batiz reportedly stole the equipment at gunpoint but left his credit card at the store. Police traced him back to his home and on Monday he was ordered to be held in the Nassau County jail on a $200,000 bond or $100,000 cash bail.

Upset with her daughter's athletic performance, a 42-year-old Lincoln mom not only slapped her teenager but also left her on Interstate 80 on Saturday. Terrell Mackey now faces a charges of child abuse and neglect for leaving her 15-year-old daughter alone. It started when Mackey, who was disappointed by her daughter's game, asked her daughter to repeat sentences to help her game. However, when the girl failed to repeat the phrase flawlessly, Mackey slapped her in the head.

Britain's Princess Diana's memorial fountain has turned into a "swamp" full of green slime. Visitors to the attraction in London's Hyde Park were shocked and disappointed to see the algae-like goo ruining the effect of the $10. 2 million granite feature. A spokesman for the fountain claimed the slime was not algae, but stray leaves.

In an attempt to take revenge from his ex-girlfriend for ditching him, a 33-year-old man left homemade sex DVDs on car windshields throughout the area. David Feltmeyer faces charges for his act of distributing DVDs that contained video of both of them having sex. He also left her phone number, name and address and the woman received several visits and phone calls from strangers seeking sex. The woman declined to comment anything as she is said to be in a new relationship now.

A Sheboygan mother is expected to be charged with two counts of misdemeanor child neglect for allegedly leaving her two children in a freezing car for 20 minutes while she went tanning. Police arrested the 27-year-old woman after two people spotted the children, ages 23 months and 10 years, in the car that was locked but not running.
